Tributes have been paid to a 10-year-old girl from Borough Green who was found hanged in her bedroom.

Borough Green Primary School pupil Alanta Collins, pictured left, was found dead at her home in Hill View, Borough Green, at 11.35pm on Tuesday, October 25.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a post mortem concluded the cause of death as suspension.

Police say an inquest is set to be heard in the New Year.

More than 100 messages have been left on an online tribute page set up in her memory.

One posted by the page administrators read: "To our baby girl, our little lady, mummy and daddy and your big brother misses you so much" and it added: "we can't believe we're not going to get our kisses and cuddles from you anymore, already miss your smiles."

"You will always be with us in our hearts and minds forever night night little angel."

Another read: "god bless her... she was a lovely little girl ... our thoughts and love are with you all at this very sad time."
