A driver hurt in a serious smash on the A2 has died - on his 21st birthday.

Steve Wiseman was rushed to hospital after his car veered across three lanes and hit a lamppost on the London-bound carriageway.

He died on Monday, three days after the crash.

Friends have left a stream of tributes to the former Wilmington Enterprise College student on his Facebook page and at the crash scene.
