Trio held over cafe boss murder

Three men have been arrested in connection with the killing of a 51-year-old Kent cafe owner.

Andrew Cresswell was found dead at his cafe at Pivington Mill, Pluckley, near Ashford on Tuesday. He suffered a blow to the head.

According to police, the three men were arrested earlier today and are in custody while investigations continue.

Mr Cresswell was last seen in Ashford at about 3.45pm on Monday - the day before his body was found.

He was one of the country's leading aviation archaeologists and when police examining the crime scene and his mobile home found hand grenades and other World War I memorabilia, they called in the bomb squad.
