DETECTIVES are investigating after a 42-year-old man reported that he was pushed over and had his passport and wallet stolen.

The man was on his way home from a night out at a Margate club when he said that three men stopped him in the town's Northdown Road between 2am and 3am on Sunday.

He received cuts and bruising to his face and was checked over at the QEQM Hospital in Margate.
