More on KentOnline

After two weeks and 27 finalists, Harry Blackley from Sevenoaks is off to see Coldplay as the winner of our Live in Boston competition.
All he had to do was listen to Kent’s kmfm and phone in when he heard a particular Coldplay song. That put him into the final and he was then selected at random.
He is off to Boston to see Coldplay live at the TD Gardens. I’m going too. I hope Harry is OK with that and it does not seem like I am gate-crashing. We are taking kmfm Drivetime out there for four nights in July. I am excited to be going as I love a holiday. OK, working holiday. Harry is taking his father Nick who has never been to America and he loves Coldplay, too. A perfect winner.
The winning continues on kmfm soon with Chicago Chicago – a competition to see the musical which is so good you could be seeing it twice. I’ll leave the rest for your ears. Stay tuned to find out how you can win.
Tune in too for your chance to see The Making of Harry Potter at the Warner Bros Studio Tour London. This is where some of the “secrets will be revealed” and you could be winning your way in to see Westlife for the last time on their final tour.
With summer approaching there are some very catchy tunes being released. Nicki Minaj’s Starships I told you about last week. Now, out of nowhere, an artist called Carly Rae Jepsen has been grabbing your attention. Her debut song in the UK is called Call Me Maybe. This week it hit No1 in the charts so I know you will have it turned up loud when driving to the beach, in the kitchen when cooking dinner and when you sing top volume in the shower. Yes, it is that good.
Carly, real name Vanessa Heins, is 26 and came third in Canadian Idol. After the competition she went away and wrote new songs and was snapped up by a record label.
She has had to work really hard and it has finally paid off as at the moment there’s no stopping her.
Listen out for it – as well as More of the Music You Want on kmfm.
