AN ARGUMENT between two guests at a Margate hotel led to the couple being arrested. Police were called to the Travel Inn in Station Road on Saturday night.

Two guests were arguing in their room, and the noise was disturbing other guests. The hotel manager went to the room and found the bathroom had been badly damaged. It is estimated the repairs will cost about £1,000.

A 32-year-old man from Brentford, London, and a 15-year-old girl were arrested for criminal damage.
