Two Ashford brothers have been jailed for a total of 27 years after they were found guilty of raping and abusing two young boys.

Mark Fuller, 36, of Belmont Place, John Fuller, 39, of Breadlands Road, Willesborough, and their nephew Toby Fuller, 21, also of Belmont Road, were sentenced at Kingston Crown Court in Surrey.

Mark Fuller was sentenced to 14 years, after being found guilty of nine rapes and the sexual assault of boys aged 13 to 17 at an earlier hearing in August.

John Fuller was sentenced at the earlier hearing to 13 years for five rapes and the sexual assault of boys aged 13 to 17.

Toby Fuller was jailed for 30 months for three counts of the sexual assault of a boy aged 13 to 17.

All three had denied the offences.

The prosecution comes after the boys told police they had been abused by the two men on several occasions between 2004 and 2008. The offences came to light after one of the boys told a teacher.

Detective Inspector Tara Mitchell said: "This has been traumatic for all those involved and I hope that today's sentence will bring to an end some of the emotional and physical suffering that these boys have had to endure.

"The systematic abuse of the boys was horrific and the sentences place these men where they should be."
