Two men have appeared in court following last week's dramatic crash in Teynham.

Benjamin Joseph Pell, 18, of Cuthbert Road, Westgate-on-Sea and a 16-year-old from South London have both been charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking without consent, dangerous driving, driving with no insurance and driving other than in accordance with a licence.

Both men appeared before Sittingbourne magistrates and have been remanded into custody.
