ONE lane of the Ashford Road at Bearsted, near Maidstone, was blocked after a car overturned.

A Citroen Saxo flipped over at the junction with Roseacre Lane shortly after 7am on Thursday after colliding with another vehicle.

Two people were treated at the scene for minor injuries and one lane was blocked while the damaged car was recovered.

Police officers cleared the accident by around 8.15am.
