TWO people were hurt and a busy road was blocked for some time following an a two-car crash in New Hythe Lane at Larkfield, near Maidstone.

The collision happened outside the Kent Messenger Group's head office just after 7am on Monday. There were traffic delays while the emergency services worked at the scene.

Both the injured people were taken to Maidstone Hospital, one suffering from whiplash injuries and the other with cuts to the face. Kent Police had reopened the road by around 10.30am.
