Two new value-rich Fabias have arrived to tempt UK buyers as Skoda continues to push sales of the aging model before its replacement.
An estate version of the Monte Carlo Tech follows the same ethos as the extraordinarily popular hatchback on which it is based. Taking the Monte Carlo base and adding Amundsen sat-nav and Bluetooth as well as greater luggage space, it pushes the car’s inherent value-for-money even higher.
Available with two 104bhp engines; the brilliant 1.2 turbocharged petrol and a 1.6 diesel, prices for the estate start at just £12,575 on the road.
The second new special edition is the Fabia Reaction, which features air conditioning, alloy wheels, a leather steering wheel, a rear spoiler, black detailing and ‘sunset glass’.
It is to be built in hatchback form only, with the only engine option the basic non-turbocharged three-cylinder 1.2-litre unit with 69bhp.
The Reaction model is designed to capture the interest of buyers seeking outright value, with prices starting at only £9,690 on the road.
