Two of three stolen quad bikes found after crash

POLICE recovered two stolen quad bikes after a road accident, but are still trying to trace a third worth £4,500.

One bike was embedded in a tree and the other was abandoned after the crash on the A2070.

The drivers left the scene on the third quad bike, a black and red Honda. Police believe two of the riders were injured in the collision.

The two bikes found at the scene sustained £6,500 worth of damage.

The vehicles were stolen from outbuildings in Rye Road, Brookland, Romney Marsh sometime after September 2. The accident happened at around 7pm on September 10.
