A UFO sighting over Singleton was witnessed by scores of people.
Jade Anthony was the first to report bright flaming lights hovering in the sky near her home on Sunday August 17.
Since her story appeared in the Kentish Express we've been flooded with stories from readers who saw something similar.
Jade Anthony, from Bullrushes, witnessed the spectacular display with her friend Simon Lowe from the garden of her home.
The 29-year-old model admitted she was freaked out after observing two glowing orange craft circling over the lake before dropping balls of flame to earth.
She described them as being like Chinese lanterns.
Postman Michael Ellender, 62, from Cypress Avenue, Godinton Park, Ashford, also watched in awe with his wife as a number of unusual bright lights performed aerobatics in the sky.
He said: “We were left baffled.”
Mary Allen, 80, from South Stour Avenue, Ashford, was closing her bedroom curtains when she spotted the lights moving slowly across Great Chart playing fields towards Ashford.
After watching with husband Bob she said: “I have never seen anything like it before.
