Van driver hurt in crash with bus

A VAN driver was slightly injured when his vehicle was involved in a collision with a bus.

Traffic queues built up after the incident in Pier Road at Gillingham. Both vehicles were damaged.

Paramedics were called to the scene at around 8am on Thursday but the Tyrefix van driver walked away complaining of minor injuries. The bus driver was unhurt. He had no passengers on board at the time.

Traffic was held up to the Medway Tunnel until the damaged van was towed away.
