THE driver of a van died in hospital following a two-vehicle collision on the M25 in Kent.

The crash happened on the clockwise carriageway near Swanley, just after the slip-on from junction 3 on Monday.

Both the van and the car ended up in the central reservation. The van driver was taken to Darent Valley Hospital at Dartford where he died from his injuries.

Nobody else is believed to have been injured in the collision.
