A cricket club has been hit with a spate of vandalism that is going to cost thousands of pounds to fix.
Nigel Champion, chairman of Great Chart Cricket Club, says about £2,500 worth of damage has been caused since the incidents started in mid-January.
He said: "We've got a wooden veranda which they've tried to set light to but fortunately it's been treated so it would take a lot of heat to get it burning.
"Then about two weeks ago there was some quite extensive damage done to our roof tiles.
"When they got a few of them off the roof they started throwing them back up there to smash off the other ones. We've lost some balustrades and they've also smashed a barrier we have on our emergency fire exit."
The Godinton Park club is due to start the new season in April and despite being covered by CCTV, the attacks have taken place at night and police have been unable to get a decent look at those responsible.
The club was founded in the late 1800s by John Davis, a well-respected resident in the parish, and in 2006 celebrated its 150th anniversary.
It is hoped that a private security firm, which is planning to come in this week with night-vision cameras, will be able to stop the attacks happening.
The club is now offering a reward of £250 for anyone who knows who is committing the offences.
