A POLICE car had its tyres slashed and had paint sprayed on it in a Kent town.

The vehicle was parked at the police office in Maidstone Road, Paddock Wood, when the damage was done overnight between Friday and Saturday.

A Ford Escort and a Ford Mondeo parked in nearby Ringden Avenue were also sprayed with paint.

Police say they do not yet know if the incidents are linked.
