VANDALS have left a trail of damage after a window breaking spree in Birchington village centre.

Shops in Station Road were targeted shortly after 11.30pm on Monday night and four businesses were affected with a total repair bill expected to be in excess of £1,000.

Four people were seen in the area at the time. One was wearing a red top and a white baseball cap while another was dressed in a white top and red cap.
