A one-legged war veteran has been terrorised by vandals at his village bungalow for more than three years.
Arthur Bomber, 92, says yobs have ripped up his garden, kicked down his fence and trampled over his prized vegetables in Osbourne Gardens, Beltinge.
They've even hurled rocks through his greenhouse in the latest attacks.
The great-grandad - who lost his leg after he was wounded at the Battle of Kohima in India - says the vandalism has left him "disheartened".
He said: "It does make me feel bitter when I think what I went through as a youngster.
"They have it easy nowadays, but can't think of anything better to do than to go around destroying other people's property.
"I think a bit of National Service would sort them out, especially if they had the same instructors as me."
The retired plumber - who was awarded the Burma Star - has lived in the bungalow since 1946 but says the vandalism only started in 2007.
He said: "It's been on and off during that time. I love doing my gardening so it's very disheartening when things like this happen.
"I've gone out there a few times in the last three weeks and the glass on the greenhouse has been smashed.
"I've had to tape it up myself and am thinking about getting the glass replaced with plastic to stop it happening again.
"I don't really know why they're doing it to me. Maybe it's because I live on the corner."
Arthur says the attacks happen at night so he hasn't been able to catch the culprits. But he says he wouldn't confront them even if he did.
He said: "Nowadays it's not worth the risk. You read in the papers about knife crime so who knows what could happen. At my age if I fall over I need help getting up, so it wouldn't be a good idea.
"I just hope they can take it upon themselves to stop. I fought for my country and lost my leg and many friends in the war. I don't deserve it."
Arthur says the police have been alerted and he is awaiting a visit.
