A 52-year-old man killed in a three-car pile-up on a Kent motorway has been identified by police.
Andrew Gregory died at the scene of the crash on the coastbound carriageway of the M2 near the Farthing Corner services, Gillingham, at around 3.30am on Friday.
He was from Sheerness. In a statement, Mr Gregory's family said: "Andy was a kind hearted, gentle and caring man who always had a smile on his face, a witty comment to greet you with and would be the first to offer help to anyone who needed it.
"He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and work colleagues."
Mr Gregory leaves a mother and a sister who both live in London.
Steven O'Riley, 24, of Upper Church Town Road, Dublin, Ireland, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and having no insurance in connection with the incident.
He was due to appear before Medway magistrates on Monday.
