In a galaxy not too far away from Ashford lives Peter
Hygate, a primary school teacher and possibly Kent’s biggest Star
Wars fan.

The force is strong with the 37-year-old Godinton Primary School
teacher, who has a collection of thousands of Star Wars items
including books, action figures, replica costumes, autographs and
props.

His two daughters even have Star Wars characters’ names and his
long-suffering wife Jo, 38, left the church when they married to
the theme tune of the blockbuster movies.
