Medway plays a crunch role as the backdrop for a new TV
advert starring Gary Lineker.

The Match of the Day host and former
England striker filmed his latest Walkers crisps commercial in the
Towns.

He shot the ad - choreographed by
Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli - in Rochester High
Street and the Historic Dockyard Chatham.

Part of a new Rainy Days campaign, in
which consumers have the chance to win £10 every day it rains, it
is set to The Weather Girls hit It's Raining Men - altered to
It's Raining Ten.

Gary is seen munching crisps while
looking at a map of Rochester as he sits on a bench in the High
Street.

But as shoppers run for cover when it
starts to rain, the 49-year-old launches into a flamboyant
dance.

He rips of his jumper as the routine
takes him to an abandoned warehouse and a potato field, where he
throws his arms to the sky holding a £10 note.

As the Messenger exclusively reported
in July, more than 50 passers-by gathered to watch Lineker filming
in Rochester. Police were even on hand to control the crowds.

Bruno coached Gary through the two-day
shoot, which included sliding down stair banisters, swinging high
on a rope and leaping over a potato cart.

But the former footballer was also
aided by a young body-double, whose hair was even dyed grey for
stunts.
