Lyminge man says
Telehealth is a lifeline
A mobile monitoring machine piloted in Kent is now set to change
the lives of patients across the country.
Telehealth machines record vital patient information such as
blood pressure and blood sugar levels and send it remotely to
doctors, without them having to make home visits.
Haris Patel from Lyminge, who suffers from a number of long-term
health complaints, has had his life turned around since he first
started using the machine four years ago.
He was part of the original trial and went from having to spend
months in hospital to being able to live independently in his own
home.
