Commuters sing a song for Southeastern
by Lauren Hood
On the twelfth day of Christmas
Southeastern said to me... 12 hundred stranded...
A group of unhappy Southeastern passengers have let off
steam at the train operator's service - in a
seasonal song about commuting.
The long-suffering commuters met last night to belt out their
Southeastern-inspired version of the Christmas
carol The Twelve Days of Christmas.
It was penned by regular rail user Adam Helal, of St Leonard's,
East Sussex, in protest at what he claims is the train
operator's poor service.
Last week Southeastern bosses apologised to customers for poor
service during the cold snap earlier this month.
And last night the group made their feelings clear at London's
Charing Cross station.
A Southeastern spokesman said: "We always welcome all feedback
from passengers, in whatever format it may come in."
