Bad weather will not be detering the young gardeners at Sheldwich Primary School, near Faversham.
They will soon be growing their produce under glass after winning our greenhouse competition.
The school is about to take possession of an 8ft by 6ft fully accessorised greenhouse courtesy of Halls Garden Buildings after beating almost 70 schools who entered the countywide competition.

Head teacher Sarah Garrett said: “I am just thrilled for the pupils because we have spent the past year designing a new garden area with raised beds and this has come at just the right time as our old greenhouse blew across the field in a storm!
“Our new greenhouse will enable the pupils to grow a variety of fruit and vegetables, and plants to enhance our sensory garden and wildlife areas over the coming seasons.”
