Video: Watch the seal
swimming around the boating pool.

Few of us would take a dip in a tidal swimming pool in mid-March
but this playful seal wasn't afraid of the bracing temperatures or
curious onlookers.

The cute creature got trapped in the boating pool at Walpole
Bay, Margate, when the tide
went out on Friday.

It was spotted ducking and diving by dog walkers who alerted the
animal charity, the RSPCA.

The seal appeared to be unharmed and was expected to make its way out to
sea at high tide at around 1.40pm this afternoon.
