It’s episode five of our tiger cub diaries, and it’s a noisy one!
The cubs are now just over five months old, and are become more distinctive from one another.
Bira may be the smaller of the two, but she is certainly becoming the most feisty – jumping on dad Tug and yapping for food from the keepers.
Sinda is the bigger of the two girls, but adopts a more laid-back approach to life, although she enjoys a play fight with her little sister.
The cubs have adopted a meat diet almost entirely – while they have not yet been fully weened from mum, they go crazy for hunks of meat thrown into the enclosure and attack them with gusto.
Dad Tug continues to soften to the youngsters, and is much more tolerant of their playing with him, while mum Ingrid is glad of the peace and quiet as the kids begin to peel off on their own.
Don’t miss the next instalment of the tiger diaries, as it will be our last look at Sinda and Bira for a while!
