SIR David Frost will be joined by Lord Falconer, Minister for Thames Gateway, at Medway's biggest ever conference.
Lord Falconer has confirmed his attendance at "Medway - the future unveiled", on June 19 at the Colonial Building, Quayside, Chatham Maritime.
Gillingham-raised Sir David Frost will join leading Spanish industrialist Alfonso Martinez Cearra and SEEDA chief executive Anthony Dunnett as they deliver their vision for the future of Medway.
The conference will outline plans for urban and riverside renaissance with a virtual reality presentation on the future of Medway by Kent Institute of Art and Design.
The conference is backed by SEEDA, Locate in Kent, Medway Council, the University of Kent at Medway, BAE Systems and the Kent Institute of Art and Design.
Medway Council's portfolio holder for regeneration, Cllr Jane Chitty said: "I am pleased that business and financial services supported this high profile event promoting Medway.
"Their attendance recognised the great potential workforce that exists in Medway and their support will complement the successful business community that we already have in the towns."
The director general of the Confederation of British Industry, Digby Jones, stated recently that Medway is a key location for business when he addressed 100 of London's blue chip companies.
The conference heard that Medway boasts 15 per cent of Kent's population with 6,000 skilled managers living within a 10 minute drive of Chatham Maritime.
Paul Wookey, chief executive of Locate in Kent said: "Medway has a lot to offer the business and financial services sector, its strategic location makes it ideal for many types of business. There is already an excellent communications network and, with the completion of the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, the area will be even better placed to serve this important sector."
