FOLLOWING a highly successful 2003 when the Volvo C70 convertible achieved its best year for sales since launch, Volvo has introduced a Special Edition - the C70 Collection.
With production limited to just 300 in 2004, the C70 Collection will be assured of exclusivity, and with Volvo Advantage, it could be yours for £3,491 a month.
The Volvo C70 Collection’s enhanced specification features:
* Unique 17in Otrera polished alloy wheels.
* A choice of three exterior colours - Titanium Grey Pearl, Silver Metallic & Black Sapphire.
* Two exclusive interiors - Toscana Tan soft leather with an aluminium inlay and Off Black soft leather with carbon fibre inlay.
* Decorative inlay stitching on seats, door panels, sun-visors, centre armrest and steering wheel (contrast colour with Off Black, matching colour with Toscana Tan).
* Silver bright finish to air vent and handbrake lever knobs.
* Off Black sports steering wheel.
* Heated front seats.
* Off Black luxury floor mats.
* Black soft top.
To allow customers to equip their new Volvo C70 Collection to the more luxurious GT specification level, Volvo has created a unique option pack. The Convenience Pack is priced at £900 and includes:
* 5C901 RDS 3xCD radio cassette, 4x100W amplifier with Dolby Pro Logic Surround Sound™ and 9in subwoofers.
* Auto-dimming rear view mirror.
* Front cup-holders.
* Information Centre.
The C70 Collection is available with a choice of 2.0T (163bhp), 2.4T (200bhp) and T5 (245bhp) engines with on the road prices ranging from £26,578 for the 2.0T, £28,278 for the 2.4T and £29,978 for the T5.
Company motorists lucky enough to have the C70 on their company car list will pay £154 or £281 tax per month depending on whether they are a 22 per cent or 40 per cent tax payer. The range topping T5 will cost a 22 per cent tax payer £180 per month and a 40 per cent tax payer £327 per month.
