Ward and Partners Children’s Awards 2015

Are you a music teacher or sports coach who is witnessing some incredible achievement from one of your pupils?

Do you belong to or lead a performing arts group in which a young person is doing amazing things in spite of a disability?

Are they deserving of an award?

The Going for Gold award, as part of this year’s Ward and Partners Children’s Awards, is looking for achievement in sports, music, visual and performing arts despite disability.

It is a category specifically designed for children and young people who are winning awards or accolades or excelling in exams for a talent or hobby, regardless of the restrictions their disability might be placing upon them.

Alternatively the award could also recognise someone who has fought serious illness while being able to continue and achieve within their sport, music or chosen art. Judges want to hear from any team, coach, group or teacher which knows of a hard-working, talented, determined child who deserves a nomination in this category.

HOW TO ENTER

Overall there are six categories open for nominations this year. At the end of the nomination process, judges will be viewing all of the entries before selecting finalists – who are then invited to a special awards lunch in the autumn to announce and celebrate the winners.
