Tickets for the Zoo Thousand and Eight (Zoo8) music festival at Port Lympne have been stolen from a shop.
Festival-goers are being warned not to buy cut-price tickets - as they won’t get in.
A total of 36 day and weekend tickets for the festival, which takes place at the beginning of July and features Athlete, Ash, Dizzee Rascal and Mark Ronson, were swiped from Headz new age gift shop in Guildhall Street, Folkestone.
Festival organiser Matt Dice has warned that people who buy them risk being turned away at the gates.
He said: “The tickets are all numbered, so when people try to use the stolen tickets to get in, the numbers will come up.
“If people are offered these cheap tickets, they should be aware that they run the risk of not being let in.”
Anyone with information about the theft should contact Kent Police on 01303 850055 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The festival is looking for volunteers to run the bars, in exchange for free tickets.
