The Met Office has issued a weather warning advising people to be aware of heavy rain which could hit this evening.
Saturday has seen Devon and Cornwall afflicted by wet conditions and forecasters say these are due to move east during the afternoon and into the evening.
Heavy rain is possible in the county, bringing with it the possibility of surface water flooding and transport disruption.
Parts of the south west have seen 10-20mm of rainfall within an hour. Forecasters say it is possible some areas of the county could see similar amounts.
The warning is in place for a swathe of the south of England, including Kent, Medway, London and Surrey until around 9pm.
It is classed as a yellow alert, which advises people to be aware of conditions.
