Welling will host League 1 Millwall in a quickly-arranged pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
The south London side contacted the Wings over the weekend in an effort to arrange another game, and Welling secretary Barrie Hobbins duly obliged.
Mr Hobbins, pictured, said: "Millwall have promised to send down a strong team.
"Although the start of the season for both clubs is this weekend, they have one or two players that need a game.
"We have a good relationship with Millwall so are happy to accomodate them, even at short notice."
The game kick-off at Park View Road at 7.45pm on Tuesday evening.
Welling beat Tonbridge 2-1 in a friendly on Sunday with goals from Lee Clarke and Tony Finn.
