Welling manager Andy Ford has offered a new deal to top scorer Charlie Sheringham.
The 21-year-old was named player of the year by the club's fans last weekend and Ford has offered him a fresh contract.
Sheringham bagged 28 goals in his debut season for the club, and edged out defenders Tony Sinclair and Graeme Andrews to take the annual award.
Ford (pictured right) said: "Goalscorers always tend to get the awards but I think the top three was about right.
"It's been a learning curve for Charlie, having to get a job and then train with us in the evening - I'd imagine he found that quite tough.
"Hopefully he has learnt lots this season and can push on again next year."
Ford has also offered a new deal to teenager Jack Parkinson, who forced himself into the starting line-up despite having a three-month spell on loan at Margate at the start of the season.
"Jack is a good player to have in the squad," said Ford. "He can play in three or four positions but we need to set him down to one place.
"I'm pleased with his progress and the only reason why he went to Margate was because we had to balance the books financially - he always had potential."
