Welling's players will meet new manager Jamie Day for the first time at training on Tuesday night.
Day (pictured) is also expected to introduce his backroom staff, which will not include caretaker boss Lee Protheroe in a coaching capacity, before holding an informal meeting with the squad.
"We'll go in and put our points across," said Day. "We'll tell the players what we are expecting, how we will work and show them our methods."
Day watched Welling's 1-0 win at Worcester from the stands on Saturday and is happy with the squad he is inheriting.
"It was the first time I've seen them this season, I think it was important that I was there," said Day.
"I was hoping that the players didn't know I was there as I didn't want it to distract them. I don't think they realised I was there in the first half but they probably did by the second half.
"I've seen that I've got a good base of players to work with. Maybe we are in a false position in the league, but the league table doesn't lie and we need to get out of the position we are in.
"I'm pleased with the squad that I will inherit but I know that I need to add to it as well."
Day also added that he will be keen to improve Welling's goals for column, as the Wings have only scored 18 times in 16 league games to date.
"If I'm honest I don't think we created a lot of chances (at Worcester) and it's an area that needs to be looked at," he said.
"But everyone will be given a fair chance. I want to see them play two or three games.
"I've always got players in the back of my mind that I might want to bring in but it's only fair to give the current squad a chance. They might react differently to a different manager."
