Welling made it six league wins on the spin after beating Hayes & Yeading at Park View Road on Saturday.
A 3-0 win leaves Jamie Day’s side sitting second in Blue Square Bet South - just two points behind leaders Salisbury City.
United opened the scoring four minutes before half-time when leading scorer Ross Lafayette (pitured) beat the visiting keeper with a powerful low shot. It was his 11th goal of the season.
Early in the second half Lafayette had a shot well saved by keeper James Beasant.
At the other end Sam Mott made a great one-handed save from a Pedro Monteiro header, in what was a rare chance for the visitors.
Welling then gave themselves a cushion, with a second goal on 78 minutes, when Kurtis Guthrie picked out Kiernan Hughes-Mason and he fired home.
Day’s side hit a third on 86 minutes as Hughes-Mason headed into the net.
