Welling United remain top of Blue Square Bet South after cruising to victory over 10-man Maidenhead at Park View Road on Saturday.
Andy Pugh (pictured) opened the scoring on 18 minutes, latching onto Joe Healy's ball over the top and beating the out-rushing keeper Jon Nydell before lobbing him from near the edge of the box.
Loick Pires was fouled in the box after a move down the Wings left on 26 minutes with Lee Clarke converting the subsequent penalty to double the advantage.
It was 3-0 just before the half-hour when a counter-attack down the right saw a low ball sent into the Maidenhead box which evaded everyone except Pugh at the far-post and he slotted in from close-range after a lung-busting run into the area.
With the game all but over as a contest, Maidenhead were reduced to 10 men on the hour when half-time substitute Will Hendry received his second booking in quick succession and a red to follow.
Pugh completed his hat-trick six minutes from time. Left-back Jack Obersteller launched a cross-field ball to Luis Cumbers who controlled and crossed for Pugh to nod his third of the afternoon and 10th of the campaign.
Bromley allowed an early lead to slip to a 4-1 defeat at Staines in Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
Gareth Williams headed the visitors ahead just 10 minutes in, only for The Massive to pull level from the spot through Richard Butler on 36 minutes.
Two David Wheller goals a minute either side of half-time then sealed Bromley's fate before the hosts added a fourth in the final minute through Mark Nwokeji.
