A pre-season friendly with Arsenal is the stand-out fixture in Welling's pre-season schedule.

Welling boss Jamie Day, a former Arsenal trainee, has used his contacts to set-up the money-spinning game.

The Wings will also host Charlton and Millwall with trips to Canvey and Aveley also in their schedule.

Day said: "We've got the three games at home against big clubs and the other games are against teams who play similar to what we will experience in Blue Square South next season.

"There will be eight to 10 players coming in during pre-season and it will also give us a chance to look at them. Hopefully it will be a good set of fixtures."
