The final words of the pilot on the doomed jet which crashed on to a house in Kent were revealed in an accident report on Friday.
Trouble began only seconds after the Cessna Citation plane took off from Biggin Hill Airport on Sunday March 30 with two pilots and three passengers on board. The take off appeared normal.
The interim report by the Department of Transport's Air Investigation Branch says that just one minute after becoming airborne the co-pilot reported: "We're making an immediate turn to return to the airport."
After an exchange with the control tower, the final message came in: "We have a major problem, a major power problem. It looks as though we're, er, going in, we're going in."
The plane skimmed over a playing field, trees and rooftops before crashing into a house in Romsey Close, Farnborough, about two miles north of the airport.

There was an explosion and the house, which was empty, and plane were wrecked by the blast and subsequent fire. All five people on the jet were killed.
The report says no evidence of bird strike or foreign object damage was found. There was no pre-impact damage or failures to the crucial engine parts.
One question mark is over which of the two pilots was in charge.
The investigation continues.
