With multiple road closures and diversions in place across Kent and severe delays at the ports, it can be confusing as to which is the correct route to take.
Police and transport chiefs have come up with a series of routes advising where tourist and freight traffic should go depending on where they're heading.
So what is the route if you're travelling to either Dover or Eurotunnel? Here's the latest information:
Tourist/non-freight to Port of Dover
The M20 is closed for all non-freight traffic between J8 (Maidstone) and J12 (Folkestone).
Operation Brock is in place and entry slip roads at Ashford's J9 and J10 and J11 at the Stop24 services for Hythe is shut.
All tourist traffic for the Port of Dover is being told to head along the M2 and A2 and arriving at the port via Jubilee Way.
Freight to Port of Dover
All freight is to join the lorry holding area on the M20 at J8.
Operation Brock is in place and entry slip roads at Ashford's J9 and J10 and J11 at the Stop24 services for Hythe is shut.
Drivers attempting to divert on any other route to Dover or the Eurotunnel terminal at Folkestone face a £300 fine and being sent to the back of the queue.
Additional checks are in place at Brenley Corner at J7 of the M2 to prevent freight vehicles jumping the queue.
Tourist/non freight to Eurotunnel at Folkestone
