We've found Britain's highest priced bog standard petrol - and guess what? It's in Kent.
The John Childs garage in Bridge Road, Brabourne, near Ashford, is selling standard unleaded at a staggering 129.9p a litre.
And, according to fuel price comparison site petrolprices.com, there's nowhere in the UK more expensive.
A spokeswoman for the garage said: "We are a small company, and set our prices based on what we buy the petrol in at.
"We only buy small quantities at a time which makes it more expensive. We serve a small rural community here."
We were alerted to the price after a poster - using the name Norm - responded to our appeal to find Kent's highest price.
He beat the whopping 128.9p per litre we found for BP's regular unleaded at Medway Services run by Moto off the M2 (pictured right).
Andy Leatham, spokesman for Moto, said: "We have a range of commercial relationships in place with various oil companies which inevitably result in different pricing agreements.
"In some cases, the forecourt may be owned by the oil company and in such instances it is they, not Moto, who set the pump price.
"We have no control over the price they choose to charge.
"In instances like Medway, where the forecourt is owned by us, we fix the pump price taking into account the price we have been charged, the investment required to acquire and invest in the location and other operational requirements - such as compulsory 24-hour opening."
Posters have also reported prices rising at Sainsbury's in Ashford where unleaded have jumped 1p to 121.9p today.
Can it go any higher?
