A mystery customer scooped more than £100,000 after playing the lottery in Herne Bay.

The lucky winner bought their ticket for the Lotto draw at the Co-op in Mortimer Street, but has asked to remain anonymous.

National Lottery operator Camelot confirmed someone had bagged a prize of more than £100,000, but revealed it wasn’t the jackpot.

It means the winner would have matched five numbers and the bonus ball, but Camelot wouldn’t say when to protect their identity.
