DETECTIVES have released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with an armed robbery at a petrol station.
A man entered the Texaco filling station in City Way, Rochester, holding a small handgun and demanded money from the cashiers.
He fled with an amount of money. Police say the robbery happened at around 6pm on Monday, February 19.
Det Sgt Terry Easterby said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help us identify this man. He is quite distinctive and very tall and I am certain someone out there can help us locate him.
"The cashiers involved have been left distressed by this ordeal and no one should have to go through an incident like this at work."
The man want to trace is described as being a white male, between 6ft 4in and 6ft 5in tall with a very large build.
He was wearing a black jacket with the hood up and a scarf covering his face. It appeared that the man’s jacket and gloves were too short, leaving his wrists exposed.
Anyone who can help officers with the investigation, is asked to contact Medway police station on 01634 792529.
