A mum nearly missed out on a £1,000 cash prize because she'd forgot she had entered.

Victoria Hewson, from Rochester, has become the latest of the kmfm '6K summer giveaway' winners.

But she admitted she'd "forgotten" she'd entered the Thousand Pound Friday competition and was not sure whether she was going to answer her phone because she did not recognise the number.

She was still in shock when she received the call on kmfm Drivetime and was not sure what to spend the money on, although she said it would come in handy for her three children.
