A motorcyclist suffered severe leg injuries after being thrown from his bike on Dover seafront.

The biker was taken to William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, after the crash with a car at 12.20pm yesterday on Marine Parade.

The road was closed for just over two hours while officers investigated the circumstances of the accident.
