Woman biker killed in M25 crash

A 31-year-old woman motorcyclist died when her machine was in collision with a crash barrier on the M25 in Kent.

The tragedy happened on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the motorway near the Swanley interchange.

Kent Police say the woman died at the scene of the accident which happened on Sunday. She has not yet been named but it is understood she lived in east London.

The incident caused major delays for motorists and the Highways Agency said that at one stage there was a queue stretching back around four miles.
