Woman bruised after smash with car

A 20-year-old woman suffered bruising to her back and shock after being hit by a car.
The Canterbury woman was crossing The Street in Kingston when she was knocked down by a small, dark vehicle travelling towards Folkestone at 9.40pm on Wednesday April 15.
She had just cut across fields and was carrying a torch.
The male driver stopped and got out to check she was fine. He is described as short, aged between 20 and 25 with a middle Eastern appearance.
The woman has not been able to provide a more detailed description.
She took herself to hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
Police would like to speak to the man described as part of their investigation into what happened.
