A Canterbury woman denied a murder charge when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.

Care worker Lara Doran, of Rosemary Lane, is alleged to have killed 21-year-old Andrew Wilby at a flat in Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury, on June 20.

He suffered a single wound to the back and was dead on arrival at the QEQM Hospital in Margate.

Doran, 22, was remanded in custody until her trial on March 29 next year.
