A YOUNG woman pedestrian has died following a collision with a car in Rochester early today.

Police say the woman, aged between 18 and 25, suffered fatal injuries in the accident, which happened about 3.30am on Star Hill.

The woman has not been identified and no further details have been released.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
