A 50-year-old woman is to appear in court today accused of murdering her husband more than three years ago.

Valerie June Brown is due to appear before magistrates at Canterbury charged with killing 53-year-old Michael Wood at Challock, near Ashford, in July 2002.

Brown, formally known as June Wood, lives in

Netherton Close, Chester le Street, Durham.
